Old favourites and new must-haves

I've always loved browsing in chemists, department stores and specialist 'girlie' stores like Space NK.  I can't go past the neon lighting of a Boots counter without diving in to investigate and try the samples.  My bathroom cabinet needs some serious re-organising, not to mention clearing and throwing away of many hoarded and out of date makeup samples and coagulated nail polishes.  However there are some things that I will always go back to, tried and tested and are always on my 'must-have' list; then there are others, cult buys of the moment and only time will tell if they will pass the test.  So, here are some of my favourites of the moment, new and old.
What can't you do without? What are your favourite buys?  I'd love you to drop me a line and let me know.

1.  Good old Vaseline
2.  Garnier Miracle Skin Protector (this stuff is AMAZING! It really does do what it says on the bottle and is fast becoming my one cannot do without product)
3.  Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate - I use this at night before I go to bed and its like having your own mini-facial.  It smells divine and you can almost feel those essential oils rejuvenating your skin
4. Essie 'Topless and Barefoot' nail polish.  A gorgeous pale shade.

  2. I'm a big fan of Liz Earle too - have you tried her cleanser and muslin cloth? I think it gives Eve Lom a run for her money

  4. I love your new look blog! I can't live without Simple face wipes, they get rid of everything, mascara, makeup, spills, you name it. My other all-time favourite and always in my bag is Lancome Hypnose Mascara as it makes my lashes look long and thick.
